Yea, LOOK pro.

It wasnt such a good week for me,
I came down with a fever on Saturday, after Michael’s birthday celebration,
but I thought I was just tired, till I took my temperature when I reached home.

I stayed home on Sunday to recuperate and went back to work on Monday.
On Tues afternoon, my migraine hit its max, and I was feeling nauseous too.

Visited the doc and confirmed a fever,
And was given an MC on Wednesday.

On Thursday,
because I had been a good ducky boy,
Jason took me out for a simple meal,
which didnt turn out to be so simple,
cause our feet and stomachs brought us to Marina’s MOF!

I heart Shishamo! YUMM.

On Friday,
My migraine acted up after lunch,
and the pain was so unbearable I started crying in the office.
My supervisor asked me if I wanted to take time off and head home,
but it was already 5pm and I was clinging on to a ray of hope that I might be able to attend cgm.
I tried to tolerate but my colleagues were telling me that I looked pale enough
and insisted that I stopped pretending I was ok.

Jason was on leave that day,
but he rushed down from home to the office to take me home,
and then rushed off for his own cgm at NTU. (:

I went home but couldnt get to sleep.
I have been having insomnia for the past week,
some of my colleagues asked if I lost weight or have I not been eating well.

But Jason talked me to sleep,
And I had quite a good rest that night.

On Saturday, the next day,
We woke up bright and early cause we were going to the
ROMANCE SEMINAR at Fort Canning!

It was worth it!!
I am going to encourage all those who are single to sign up for the next seminar in Sept.
Pastor Tan shared about the ‘Man and Woman preparing for Marriage’ in the first session,
and Pastor Kong’s Q&A session rocked the house in the second one.

And today,
Jason brought me out for dinner again!
We went to Bugis’ Mongkok Cafe.
The portions were huge!

Dear God,
Thank you for ALL the friends you have put in my life,
my brothers and sisters in church,
and even the silly colleagues who always make me laugh in the office,
a good family,
a nice house and comfy bed,
and for Jason too.
Thank You for giving them so much patience and grace over my life,
and through them, I can feel You.
Please bless these people cause they mean so much to me.
Continue to watch over me and dont let me give up.
Thank You.

by 2 wonderful sisters in my life.

Han,
Thank you for letting me be your friend.
I have never felt or thought that you coming to me was a dread or bore.
You have brought much joy and smiles to my life.
And I love to see you smile because you are truly happy and not because you are in a crowd.

Li,
Thank you for being my friend, my sister.
We have gone through the worst times and we have come out more confident of this friendship.
Sorry for those childish acts and thoughts.
Thank God for grace over our lives and this friendship.
We started as little girls with nothing,
And now, we are ladies who love serving.

We planned to watch Suspect X,
but it didnt work out.
So we changed it to dinner!

Had to wait for 1 of our Supervisors to authorize documents before we could go,
cause she was at training the entire day.
By the time she came back to her desk,
it was knock-off time for the rest of us.

So we waited from 6, all the way till around 7pm,
everyone else had left.
We lingered around in the office,
did house warming at every single colleague’s seat,
scanned through the photos they put up,
admired the ornaments/toys they displayed,
commented on the view of every seat.

Then we got tired and just sat around to chat.

When our supervisor finally shouted that our day has ended,
we picked up our bags and vroom-ed out cause we were starving!

We had dinner at City Hall,
chicken rice!

So after dinner,
We parted and I hung around Raffles City, waited for Jason to meet me after BS.
As I was walking to the ladies,
I heard someone shouting my name, “Mavis! Mavis!”

I turned around and I saw KAREN HO!
I was thrilled!!
She invited me to join her and her friend at J.Co.
Had a great time getting to know her friend, also from chc but from another zone,
and it was such a pleasant surprise to fellowship with Karen.

Although it was a tiring day,
I enjoyed myself thoroughly,
dinner with my colleagues, chatting with Karen, meeting Jason,
my love tank is filled. (:

Voice of the Employee (VOE) bought us ice cream on Friday to cheer the employees up!

This is my puppy, Milkshake.

Its a new beginning for W328.
New grounds to sow and water.
