Family photo on Day 1.

And Day 2.

See you later!
Day 2
Started today at my ex-neighbor’s house,
delicious bowl of laksa!

Then, my aunt’s place,

Then my grandaunt’s place,

Finally, my babysitter’s house!

My Mama!! I still call her Mama!
Her favourite phrase when she sees me
“Aiyoo, wo de ah mei..” haha. I love her!

Papa! (her husband)
He was a fishmonger and used to put me in the huge basket at the back of his bicycle and cycle me to the market!

Introducing Tongtong! Beary Pup. haha. ![]()

He and his drumstick.

This is Mama’s lengendary pineapple tarts.
I could eat thousands of them in 1.25697 seconds.

Why does CNY end so quickly?
Day 1
On the first day of Chinese New Year,
my family paid our respects to our maternal grandma at the temple,

Then we caught a movie together,

And ended our day at our paternal grandma’s.

Finally, Jason and I met in town to catch Bride Wars.
It is a SUPERB movie, even Jason enjoyed himself.
Not so much of a chick flick, but its about friendship and love.
Go catch it!
And we spent some time at the arcade,
played this drum-beating-according-to-the-drumbeat-of-the-song game, FUN!

Visitation tomorrow is going to be more exciting. (:
Countdown with Fireworks
Left my house around 1045pm, and headed down to Chinatown again!
Jason and I had our own reunion dinners at home, before meeting up for the countdown.
My family had a simple home cooked dinner,
while his extended family came over to his place for a huge steamboat feast.
He had to mop the floor and help in cleaning up the house before coming down to meet me.
While waiting for him, i did this!

He rushed down in a flash and brought me up to one of the rooftops
where the firemen and policemen were stationed
cause that was where the fireworks were placed.
A huge part of the rooftop was cornered cause it was too dangerous for viewing.
No photos cause Jason and I were too busy covering our ears. Haha.
After the countdown, we went down to where the hype was to soak in what was left in the atmosphere.

HAPPY CNY 2009.
Breakfast in Chinatown
Its Chinese New Year’s Eve today,
and I woke up at 815am!
Jason and I planned to have breakfast at McDonald’s in Chinatown.
That lucky boy lives in the heart of Chinatown, so he didnt take long to meet me at the bus stop.

MOO.
Holy Spirit
Met Serene, Michael and Nigel before service at Expo today.

We shared about the Holy Spirit.
Supernatural 2009.
We had some fun around the topic.
I like time spent like this.
Fellowshipping with them, as well as the Holy Spirit. (:
